What It Does
📡
Continuous Deauth Attack
Floods the target network with 802.11 deauthentication frames — disconnecting every client and preventing reconnection until you stop it or the battery dies.
🔋
Battery Powered
Internal LiPo battery means no power cable needed. Carry it in a bag, leave it on a shelf — no trace, no wire. USB-C charging.
📶
WiFi Remote Control
Connect to the device's own management AP or join it to an existing network. Start, stop and configure attacks from any browser on the same network.
📱
Mobile App Control
Companion app (iOS + Android) lets you manage the device, view attack status, battery level and target count without a laptop.
💾
Save SSID + Password
Store WiFi credentials on the device via the web UI. At next boot the device connects automatically to your saved network — no reconfiguration needed on deployment.
🎯
Target Selection
Scan nearby SSIDs and select specific networks or clients. Broadcast deauth hits everyone; targeted mode picks specific MAC addresses or SSIDs.
🖥️
OLED Status Display (PDA-D)
Real-time display of attack mode, targets hit, IP address, and battery level. Confirm the device is running without opening a browser or launching the app.
⚙️
Open Source Firmware
Firmware is open source and available on GitHub. Built on the full ESP8266 chipset — modify, extend, or inspect it yourself.
Save SSID & Password
📶 Connect to an Existing Network
  1. Power on the device. It will create its own management access point (NoHatHacker-PDA by default).
  2. Connect to that AP from your phone or laptop. Open a browser and navigate to http://192.168.4.1
  3. Go to Settings → WiFi in the web interface.
  4. Enter the SSID and password of the network you want the device to join on the next boot.
  5. Save and reboot. The device will connect to your saved network and acquire a DHCP address. That address appears on the OLED display (PDA-D) or in your router's client list (PDA-S).
  6. Access the web UI at the assigned IP. From now on the device auto-joins on every power cycle.
⚠ Saved credentials are stored in the device's flash (LittleFS). They persist across reboots and firmware upgrades as long as the filesystem partition is not erased.
Upgrade & Source
8266Deauther Firmware
→ View on GitHub
OTA Upgrade
Upload a new .bin via the web UI at Settings → Firmware Update. No USB cable or flashing tool needed.
Serial Flash
Use esptool.py or Arduino IDE with the source from GitHub to flash over USB if OTA is unavailable.
Build Flavors
PDA-D: uncomment #define USE_DISPLAY in esp8266_deauther.ino — enables SSD1306 on I²C (0x3c, SDA=D1, SCL=D2).

PDA-S: leave the line commented. No display library linked, smaller binary.
Build Requirements
Arduino IDE + esp8266 board package (pin to 2.7.4 for deauth frame support). Dependencies listed in the repository README.
⚠ Memory note: The ESP8266 has ~1 MB of available flash after firmware. OTA uploads replace the running image — the web UI is available during the upgrade but graphs and heavy UI components may be simplified to keep within flash budget. Settings and saved credentials are preserved across upgrades.
